Post von Prof. B. Safi- Swiss Aid for Afghans (SAA):Report of Home Classes of May 2006 in Jalalabad
Dear Linda Roethlisberger,
The Home Classes in the month of May were better then in the month of April. The reason of the improvement of the girls was that we tested the children and give to the best pupils some prizes (gifts).
The papers of exams are collected from the pupils and we (Yar Moh, Jamal and Wahid) are working on that. We compare it and give marks to every papers, so that we will find the best, 1st, 2 nd,3rd and last position of the classes, and we will write you the result of the girls and which classes and which teachers are the best.
We erected 2 new Home Classes of Mr. Perrenoud P1, P2. One class is located in Khaless Family, and the teacher name is Nazifa graduated from 12th grade. The other class is located in Farm-e-Hada, the name of the teacher is Rozina she is student of 11th grade but she knows well the method of teaching, the number of admitted girls are 30 and 32. This 2 location are in the south of Jalalabad city about 12 km out side. The girls are very poor and have no chance of education. The biggest problem is the room, there are many good female teachers and poor girls but it is very difficult that the teacher give the room for the girls, because most of the families have only 2 or 3 rooms and the rent of one room is very high. Ca. Rs. 2000.
P1 and P2 classes: We selected the teachers and explain our rule and regulation, after that we bought for that teaching materials. There were no needs to construct a WC for these 2 classes.
Best Regards
Prof. B. Safi,
Jamal,
Yar Moh and Wahid
